In memory and with appreciation: Former Congressman Ralph Regula of Ohio died on July 19. His many efforts on behalf of education included an appropriation in 2004 that provided for the creation of TRAILS. We are grateful and celebrate his memory. [7/21/2017]
Feedback/Improve TRAILS Item: Help us keep TRAILS relevant by suggesting updates to existing items. Use the Feedback/Improve TRAILS Item link on the VIEW AVAILABLE ASSESSMENTS page. Suggestions will be considered as part of our summer overall review. Your input makes a real difference. [2/15/2017]
Want to post-test your students? Go to CREATE AND MANAGE SESSIONS and set up a new session using the same assessment as for the pre-test. When doing this, in the new session setup under the STUDENT CODES section, click on YES, COPY FROM A CLOSED SESSION and select the previous session name from the drop-down menu. This enables you to do the same assessment using the same student codes. [5/1/2016]
Preparing your students for college? The TRAILS-12 sister site--Transitioning to College (T2C) provides resources for both students and librarians about the college experience and the role of academic libraries. T2C users include high school juniors and seniors and their librarians, guidance counselors, and teachers, as well as those working with incoming college freshmen. T2C is freely available at (http://libguides.library.kent.edu/t2c)
Common Core State Standards: All items have been aligned with the Common Core State Standards. You can see this tagging when you log in and choose "View Available Assessments" using the Expanded View.
